Living Well Café

The Living Well Cafés provide a welcoming, safe and supportive place for people living with dementia and/or memory problems and their caregivers. Each week we have a range of optional activities such as reminiscing, puzzles, Boccia, and dancing, and we sometimes have a sing-along to finish. We have entertainment most weeks, which usually leads to a full dancefloor! At every café, we have a ‘fly cup’ with a ‘fine piece’!

There is no set charge to attend the cafés but donations are welcome to cover the costs of the refreshments and entertainment.

We have four cafés across the city:

Brimmond (formerly Newhills) Church and Oldmachar Church run on alternate Tuesdays. Devana (formerly Ferryhill) and Aberdeen Hillside (formerly Hilton) Churches run on alternate Thursdays.

All cafés run from 1 pm to 3 pm and a warm welcome awaits.
